GOD'S PROMISE

I found this while looking thru some comments trying to find one for a good friend of mine. As I read it it dawned on me that this is God's promise too. He's there thru all of these things, we just need to realize that more often. He's ALWAYS here for us.

GOD'S PROMISE

If you need to talk,
I'll listen.
If you need to cry,
I'll hold you.
If you feel lost,
I'll help guide you.
If you need to be angry,
I'll let you.
If you're feeling afraid,
I'll comfort you.
If you're feeling attacked,
I'll be your defense.
If you need to lean awhile,
I'll give you a shoulder.
If you're feeling unsure,
I'll be your confidence.
If you're feeling alone,
I'll be the friend who won't leave you.
If you need to learn to trust again,
I'll prove to you that you can.

Letting God Drive

I found this in my devotional this morning and I'm going to make this my New Year's resolution. How many of us turn ALL the driving over to God? That's my problem. I only let Him have part of the driving and then complain because He isn't driving where I want to go or He's not driving fast enough! So please pray for me this coming year as I try to let God do ALL the driving.

Let God drive.
Let Him do the navigating and planning of the best route to take you on this coming year. Well---actually for the rest of the drive. All the way to heaven’s gates. I guarantee you will enjoy the ride much more if you relinquish control of the steering wheel to the Master GPS.

So tell me ladies (and gentlemen), who is holding the sign on the road you are on?
And what does it say? Go? Slow down? Wait? Stop? Or, maybe it says, "I am with you...always..." The sign is easily read. It's found in His word. Every promise. Every detail of our lives is completely covered.
God will be holding the sign, directing the flow of traffic. Don't take on more tasks than He has called you to this year. Clean out your closets--both spiritually and physically. (That is my yearly mantra.) AND last but not least---as you open up your heart to Him afresh each day, ask Him to reveal more of His Word and life to you as you dig in and study!

My dear Heavenly Father,

I want to take this time to tell you I love you!
I love you because you first loved me and sent your son to die for me. Even
if I was the only person on this earth you would have still died for me!
Lord, to know this but to live this is totally two different things so Lord
please help me to live today as you are returning today! Lord, give me
boldness as you did Paul to tell others to get ready because He is coming
back! Lord thank you this time we have to be with our spiritual families,
family and friends and may we keep you in the center of everything we do!
We love you, my Savior and King!"

In love with Him,

My body

I just got this in an email and thought 'how true is this?' If you're my age you'll understand.

IF MY BODY WERE A CAR...

If my body were a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model.

I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull ...

But that's not the worst of it.

My headlights are out of focus and it's especially hard to see things up close

My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things

even in the best of weather.

My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins.

It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently.

But here's the worst of it --

Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter .either my radiator leaks or my exhaust backfires!

Thoughts

Thought for the Day:

If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.

He sends you flowers every spring.
He sends you a sunrise every morning Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!

God didn't promise days without pain, laughter without sorrow, sun without rain, but He did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way.

Read this line very slowly and let it sink in...

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Parade

Went to the Charles Town Christmas Parade today & boy was it cold!!! The parade was at 2pm & it's now 6:30pm & I'm just now getting warmed back up. I thought I'd be okay as Oklahoma weather is much colder. I forgot I haven't been in Oklahoma in the winter for several years & while I was on the truck with Steve the only time I got off the truck were breaks, showers & some meals.Wasn't out in the weather any at all. With me, if my behind gets cold then I'm cold & it takes forever for me to get warm again! My favorite part of the parade was the Clydesdale horses & buggies. I guess I must have lived in the 1800's in a previous life or something. I'm currently watching the Janette Oke dvd's & they're based in the 1800's & I love them! The bands were good too, especially the Jefferson High & the Washington band. After the parade we all went to the Petretta's for hot drinks & food. The chili was really good (thanks Kathy!). I really enjoyed watching the kids at the house. Little Kaitlyn & I got to know each other a little better too. They're to be here tomorrow so we'll see if she remembers me. So nice to meet Thomas too, My prayers are with Steve. He's stuck in Ohio with a load that doesn't deliver til Monday (he was supposed to be home yesterday) & it's cold & snowy. He is also struggling with some issues & needs prayers.

A DAILY PRAYER

Dear Lord, I thank You for this day, I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.
Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And give me the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.
I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.
I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who don't believe.
But I thank You that I believe that God changes people and God changes things.
I pray for my spouse, all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households.
I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes; that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.
I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it.
In Jesus' name. Amen!

FLY TO YOUR HEART (TINKERBELL)

Fly To Your Heart Lyrics

Watch all the flowers
Dance with the wind
Listen to snowflakes
Whisper your name
Feel all the wonder
Lifting your dreams
You can fly

Fly to who you are
Climb upon your star
You believe you'll find
Your wings
Fly
To your heart

Touch every rainbow
Painting the sky
Look at the magic
Glide through your life
A sprinkle of pixie dust
Circles the night you can fly

Fly to who you are
Climb upon your star
You believe you'll find
Your wings
Fly

Everywhere you go
Your soul will find a home
You'll be free to spread
Your wings
Fly

You can fly
To your heart
(Fly, fly)

Rise to the heights of all
You can be
(Fly, fly)

Soar on the hope of
Marvelous things

Fly to who you are
Climb upon your star
You believe you'll find
Your wings
Fly

Everywhere you go
Your soul will find a home
You'll be free to spread
Your wings
Fly
you can fly to your heart

FLING IT OUT!

I just finished the devotional book "Boomerang Joy" by Barbara Johnson. I loved this book! Anyway here is the poem she wrote to finish the book.

When someone does a kindness
That brightens up your day;
When a good friend helps you smile although
Your heart's chock-full of pain . . .
When a gift comes unexpectedly
To make your spirits rise,
When a little word is said
To put a twinkle in your eye . . .
Don't forget to fling that kindness
Right back out to someone else.
Send it on with sweet abandon --
Don't just keep it to yourself.
For joy that's shared is a boomerang.
Each kindness that you do,
Each smile you share, each heart you lift
Flings joy right back to you.

Dreaming with the ABC's

As you dream, keep in mind these ABC's

Aim high
Believe in God
Consider your options
Don't give up
Enrich your soul
Find faith in doubt
Go for the grace
Hang on
Ignore discouragement
Just let Jesus!
Keep trying
Love life
Make merry
Never say, "I can't"
Open your mind
Pray hard
Quit whining
Read the Bible
Stay strong
Take on the challenge
Understand the obstacles
Value virtue
Wait patiently
X-celerate hope
Yield to the Holy Spirit
Zero in on joy

This devotional was sooo good! I wanted to post all of it, but you'd probly get bored with it. It comes from "Boomerang Joy" by Barbara Johnson. I'm almost finished with this devotional as it was only 60 devotionals. I hope I find another one just as full of love, fun & faith! 'Cause right now I really need a LOT of all three.

Remember to pray for Tina & Julie tomorrow as they go thru their surgeries. Love you girls!

And can't see the light, I shall be your beacon..Shining ever so bright.
This is my oath...I pledge till the end.
Why you may ask? ...
Because you're my friend.

Thankfulness

Thank You, dear God, for all You have given me, for all You have taken from me, for all You have left me.

All the water in the world, however hard it tried,
Could never sink a ship unless it got inside.
All the evil in the world, the wickedness and sin,
Can never sink your soul's fair craft unless you let it in.

If things are tough, remember that every flower that ever bloomed had to go through a whole lot of dirt to get there. The almighty Father will use life's reverses to move you forward. So do not keep grieving about a bitter experience. The present is slipping by while you are regretting the past and worrying about the future. Regret will not prevent tomorrow's sorrows; it will only rob today of its strength. So keep on believing. With Jesus you have
not a hopeless end but an endless hope!
God knows exactly how much you can take, and He will never permit you to reach a breaking point. He will not twist your arm or let go of your hand. He is stitching your sails with love. His work takes time but it will never unravel in a storm. So whether you're sailing the high seas or floundering in the pits, know that yesterday is just experience but tomorrow us glistening with purpose-and today is the channel leading from one to the other. Sail on boldly and bravely. For the Father in heaven will never leave the helm of your ship!

BITS & PIECES

A lot of my blog ideas come from something that has touched me. Steve & I are doing a nightly devotional by Dr. James & Shirley Dobson called 'Night Light'. These came from that book:
The moment you tell other parents how to raise their kid the odds increase that your own child will turn up on America's Most Wanted.

We think we've figured life out, but then we wade in & discover otherwise. All in all, this is a good thing. For when our future is sure & certain, when all the corners are tucked in nice & neat, there is no need for faith.

This is from 'Boomerang Joy' by Barbara Johnson
Write down five things you are thankful for each day.

I am better than I was but not quite as good as I was before I got worse.

PERMANENT HOOKUP

God
I am always getting one thing
Straightened out with You
And then another lion
Jumps out of the jungle.
Why couldn't You create
Some kind of permanent hookup
So life would stay
Settled, serene
And ecstatically spiritual?
Dear child
I have
It's called Heaven.

Post Halloween

I guess I've just not been a very big fan of Halloween. We went last night to Randy & Mara's for the annual Halloween get-together. I had never been so this was all new. The people there who had kids dressed them up and after we ate sandwiches they took them out trick-or-treating in the area around Randy & Mara's home. I remember seeing Curious George, Batman, & Cat Woman, I believe Will was Robin, & Joel, i think, was a banana. After trick-or-treating it was back to the house where the kids proceeded to go through their candy & if mommy said one piece of candy was all they could have, the little rascals would wait til mommy was outta the room & ask daddy for more (daddy of course not knowing mommy had said just one). But they were so cute. We then had dessert. You should try Shasta's ginger no-snaps with her pumpkin dip (I think she said she got the recipe from Julie). My poor hubby dozed off a couple of times but he'd been up since before the roosters get up and we'd been running around most of the day. Little Paul snuck up on him once and grabbed him & woke him up. Luckily Steve didn't start swingin' fists. That's what he usually does when he's startled awake. I did make sure there weren't any beverages nearby! Anyways, I don't remember dressing up for Halloween or going trick-or-treating. I'm sure I did though. There are 6 of us, me being the oldest, & I'm sure that was a big deal. I do know that even now at 51 yrs old, if I were in Oklahoma I'd go to my G'ma's & get a popcorn ball. I know the kind she makes now are easier to make (they're made with marshmallows) but she used to make the syrup kind and they had vinegar in them. And darn-it G'ma, I miss 'em! I bought candy for trick-or-treaters but didn't know if the kids would have any of the little goblins so I got candy I liked that I could eat later! Trying to watch what I eat & do that! Speaking of buying candy, I've learned that it's NEVER a good time to grocery shop. If I've just eaten then nothin on the grocery list looks good. If I haven't eaten then I pick up things that look good. Now I try to shop half-way between meals. And why is it that when you're trying to eat healthy that healthy food costs more? Now you see where I get the title of my blog, Wonderings & Wanderings. 'Cause my mind sure does a lot of wandering! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

PRAYER

The Prayer:

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and those that I care deeply for, who are reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy.. Where there is self-doubt, release a renewed co nfidence through Your grace. Where there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs. Bless their homes, families, finances, their goings and their comings. Amen.

Prayer

I have to make a confession. I've had some very negative happenings in my life. Today something happened that made me start thinking negative again. I really don't want to feel this way, but sometimes it happens. I talked to my oldest daughter on the phone and she told me to pray about the situation. She must have said a prayer about it right after I talked to her because the situation took a turn for the better and come to find out I had no reason to be negative to start with. Please forgive me Lord for not seeking your guidance to start with. You have blessed me so much and sometimes I take that for granted. Help me to NEVER take blessings for granted.

Walk by faith

Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage? His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone. He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it. He cannot cry out for help to anyone. Once he survives the night, he is a MAN. He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own. The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. It would be the only way he could become a man!

Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold. It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm. We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, God is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When trouble comes, all we have to do is reach out to Him. If you liked this story, pass it on. If not, you took off your blindfold before dawn. Moral of the story: Just because you can't see God, doesn't mean He is not there.

'For we walk by faith, not by sight.'

UPLOOK

When the outlook is poor, try the uplook; God has His hand on you.

At the end of each day, before turning down the covers, turn all your problems over to the Holy Spirit-every last one. Be grateful He stays up late to handle them. Then lay down, secure in the knowledge that broken things become blessed things if you let Christ do the mending!

Prayer requests: I should have done this sooner, my Mom had some moles taken off her back today so please remember her in your prayers. Today is also her 73rd birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! I love you more than you'll EVER know. She found out a couple of months ago that she has diabetis and she's a cancer survivor (colon). Prayer for Julie, and for Tina (she has an MRI Wed. on her knee).

Prayer requests

I would like to ask for prayer for a couple of special women. First of them is Julie. Juile is heading home to Texas after evacuating from the hurricanes. God please grant her a safe trip home & give
her strength for her medical issues. The other one is Tina. She's been having trouble with her
knee & needs a knee replacement. I pray that the Lord will lead her where she needs to go in that & that she'll find the right way to deal with it all. Love you two.

THE MOUSE STORY

NOOOOOOOOOBODY is in your life by mistake!!!!! A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package. 'What food might this contain??'the mouse wondered - - -he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap. Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning : 'There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!' The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said,' Mr.Mouse, I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it.'

The mouse turned to the pig and told him,'There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!' The pig sympathized, but said, 'I am so very sorry, Mr.Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray. Be assured you are in my prayers.'

The mouse turned to the cow and said 'There is a mousetrap in the house!
There is a mousetrap in the house!' The cow said, 'Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin off my nose.'
So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap . . . alone. That very night a sound was heard throughout the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey. The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught. The snake bit the farmer's wife.
The farmer rushed her to the hospital , and she returned home with a fever. Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main ingredient. But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock.
To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig. The farmer's wife did not get well, she died. So many people came for her funeral, the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them. The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness. So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you, remember ---- when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk. We are all involved in this journey called life.
We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another. REMEMBER. . . . . . EACH OF US IS A VITAL THREAD IN ANOTHER PERSON'S TAPESTRY; OUR LIVES ARE WOVEN TOGETHER FOR A REASON. One of the best things to hold onto in this world is a FRIEND.
Have a great week.
Be good to yourself.

Weekends

Steve made it home for the weekend again, thank you Lord. This job is soooo much different than his last one. Because we didn't have a home base they decided we didn't need to go home, even though we had kids & grandkids in Oklahoma. It was awful! The people we worked for were nice but that doesn't make up for not getting home. It always got me that if they got to see their families very nite for the most part. We were lucky if we got to see ours twice a year. The company had an excuse every time we wanted to go home. The one that really got me was, " You don't have a home so there's no need to go there". This job Steve is home 3 weekends out of the month. He enjoys going to church & misses it on his working weekends.
Laugh, Love, and Enjoy Life, and Trust the Lord for ALL THINGS.

Prayers please

Please pray for my G'ma. She's 97 yrs young & still lives at home. She has 5 children & they all take turns staying with her. Anyway, my daughter (Shasta) sent me an email she'd gotten from Aunt Shirley. G'ma has been having severe chest pains. She's been such an inspiration to us all. She says she doesn't know why the Lord has kept her
alive this long. So any prayers would be greatly appreciated.

COFFEE

You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again. A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up. She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose. Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first, she placed carrots; in the second she placed eggs; and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil, without saying a word. In about twenty minutes, she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, 'Tell me what you see.' 'Carrots, eggs, and coffee,' she replied. Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard boiled egg. Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked, 'What does it mean, mother?' Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water. 'Which are you?' she asked her daughter. 'When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean? Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity? Do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength? Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship, or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the s ame, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart? Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavor. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest, do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life, so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying.
You might want to send this message to those people who mean something to you (I JUST DID); to those who have touched your life in one way or another; to those who make you smile when you really need it; to those who make you see the brighter side of things when you are really down; to those whose friendship you appreciate; to those who are so meaningful in your life...
It's easier to build a child than repair an adult.
MAY WE ALL BE COFFEE!!!!!

Bibles & Cell phones

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible
like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several time a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't ' t live
without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my
Bible?
Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't
have to worry about our Bible being disconnected
because Jesus already paid the bill.
Makes you stop and think, where are my priorities?
And nodropped calls!

P.S. DO WHAT YOU THINK GOD WOULD WANT YOU TO DO WITH

"The Big Night"

Well, the big event was last nite and tho the rain cut the evening short it was, for me anyway, a great evening. When Steve & I left the front gate there were 382 people there! We left the event soaking wet & exhausted but blessed.
My Sunday school class just finished up the book "Battlefield of the mind" by Joyce Meyer. I got there about half way thru the book. I have anxiety attacks & this book has helped me tremendously! I really enjoyed being in that class & having a fabulous teacher in Samantha. Our new book is "Believing in God" by Beth Moore. I hear many good things about her but have never read any of her books or studies. Am really looking forward to this class. Tho Steve & I don't know where we're going or what we're doing I hope to be around to finish this study. I have the book so I can study it on my own if we aren't around. Tho it is nice to be with fellow Christians to do studies like this. To me it's a support group. God Bless the teachers of these studies.

LET GOD!!!

I found this a while back & try to use it everyday (I said TRY).
Good morning!
This is God. I will be handling all of your problems today. I will not need your help.
So, relax & have a good day!

I love it! BUT, my problem is that I have the problem of giving God all of my problems & then take some of them back because I guess I don't think He's working fast enough. I struggle with this a lot. I just have to remember the 'I WILL NOT NEED YOUR HELP' part. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
It's going to be a very busy day t'day. We have "The Big Night" tonite & Steve & I are helping at different points all evening. This is a first for both of us. I have worked with young people but not this large a group. Steve, a new Christian, never has. So much prayer needed please.

ANYTHING & EVERYTHING

This is my first attempt at blogging other than on myspace, so please forgive me if it doesn't sound right or look right. First of all, I am from Oklahoma. I miss the flat, open landscape a lot. I'm also a country girl so city life is just a little much. I also have family in Oklahoma. My daughter and grandsons are there, as are my mom and my 97 yr old grandmother. My husband is an over-the-road truck driver and I'll be able to go with him next month but he doesn't go west of the Mississippi and the company won't allow pets and we have a wonderful cat named Allie Rose. I have lots of things on my mind lately (i.e. the title wonderings). I was in Walmart recently looking for something and ran into this lady. I didn't know her from Eve and we started talking about jobs. I don't have one but told her I'd like to do try volunteer work. She said she worked but was very unhappy with her job. She said she felt like she worked hard and was good at what she did but felt very unappreciated. Her boss never told her "thank you" or "nice job". You know, I think a job goes a lot easier when it's appreciated. A person seems to enjoy doing it more if they're told thanks. I used to work at a Christian book store and my boss told me every day when I got ready to go home, "thank you for all the hard work you did today". Now, I might not have had a good day that day, but her saying that made me WANT to come to work the next day. I told the lady to smile, pray about it and keep working hard. So, if you're reading this and you know someone who needs a little pickmeup, tell 'em thanks, or have a nice day and smile when ya say it!
